This video was created because Apple computers donated 10 iMac DV's and Canon donated 10 miniDV cameras. The cameras were given to 10 groups of kids who were told, you have 30 days to shoot a story. In addition to this the kids attended, twice a week, a class where they learned to shoot and edit video. At the end of the month I had shot 13 hours of footage and interviews that was edited into a 10 minutes piece. The final piece was shown at the annual Boys and Girls Clubs of America fund raiser dinner.
